Taking bronze at U.S. World Team Trials was Jax Forrest (USA) over Liam Cronin (USA). Junior World bronze medalist Marcus Blaze (USA) debuts in the international rankings at #15 for beating #16 Nahshon Garrett (USA) and #17 Daton Fix (USA) to make the finals of the U.S. World Team Trials.
#9 Masanosuke Ono (JPN) won the Junior World Championships over Ebrahim Khari (IRI) with #15 Marcus Blaze (USA) and Bhuvanesh Bhuvanesh (IND) taking bronze. Ono notched a ranked win over #15 Marcus Blaze (USA) 7-2 in the semifinals. 2021 Senior European Runner-up Andrey Dzhelep (UKR) won the Oil Capital Cup over Bekbolot Myrzanazar Uulu (KGZ) with Almaz Smanbekov (KGZ) and Edik Hartyunyan (ARM) taking bronze.

Taking bronze at the 70 KG U.S. World Team Trials was Junior World Bronze medalist P.J. Duke. Green and Pantaleo return to the 70 KG rankings at #4 and #5 respectively. #11 Kanan Heybatov (AZE) moves up three spots to #8 for winning the Oil Capital Cup, where he upset two-time Senior World medalist #9 (65) Ernazar Akmataliev (KGZ) in the semifinals. Mustafo Akhmedov (TJK) took silver at the Oil capital Cup behind Heybatov while Bronze medalists at the Oil Capital Cup were #9 Ernazar Akmataliev (KGZ) and Erkebulan Shynykul (KAZ).
Ryoya Yamashita (JPN) won the Junior World Championships over Magomed Baitukaev (RUS) with PJ Duke (USA) and Ali Karampour (IRI) taking bronze. #1 Inalbek Sheriev (RUS) won by forfeit over #2 Kurban Shiraev (RUS) in the finals of the Alexander Medved Memorial with Sayin Kazyryk (RUS) and Ali Rahimzade (AZE) taking bronze.

Vadim Kurylenko (UKR) won the Oil Capital Cup over Kuandryk Shaldar (KAZ) with Arystan Alkadyr (KAZ) taking bronze. #19 Dzhabrail Gadzhiev (AZE) won the Alexander Medved Memorial over Georgy Dzotsiev (RUS) with Akhmed Nurakhmaev (RUS) and #20 Magomedrasul Asluev (BRN) taking bronze.

#10 Abdulkerim Abdulaev (RUS) moves up six spots in the rankings to #4 for winning the Alexander Medved Memorial over #8 Orkhan Abasov (AZE) along with a victory over #11 Kasum Kasumov (RUS).
