Support us on Patreon!

Ever since we started the site (only a few short months ago!), people have been asking if we were accepting donations in any form. Now that the GOAT series has finished up, we're turning our attention to our new, long-term model.

All support for the site should be directed to our page on Patreon.

The first tier is simple, for $3, you'll receive a monthly thank-you/newsletter from yours truly. I have no idea what that will entail, but I'll try to keep it entertaining, if not informative.

The next tier gets you in on the newsletter, but also gives access to our new Discord server! This is where you can chat with the Fight Site staff, but it can also become a community of like-minded combat sports fans. We like to think we have the most educated fans out there, there is a ton of potential.

As payments are month-to-month, and we're not going to kick you from the Discord or anything, you could probably start at the $5 tier for your first month, then bump down to $3 in subsequent months.

Next are our exclusive content tiers.

Each of them include the newsletter, Discord membership, and access to exclusive content. What is this exclusive content? Check out our current fundraising goal - a "fight companion" or alternate commentary podcast recorded by the Fight Site staff. If we have a few exclusive patrons, that's the sort of content we can be releasing for your eyes only. Alternate fight commentaries, short video voiceover breakdowns, and other unique content will be yours! We take suggestions, so there's plenty of room to grow here.

To clarify, every tier from $10 up will include the above.

The unique feature of the $10 tier is "podcaster influencer" status for the month. You can submit one topic or question to the Fight Site podcasters of your choice, and I guarantee we'll cover it within the month. If there is no episode upcoming, we'll record a special mini-episode for you, that may be something we release only for donors.

Then we have our $15 tier, the unique feature there is essentially "pick our brain" about a specific fight or a few isolated clips. This is more of an analytical discussion with the staff member of your choice, rather than a structured article.

At $20, you can request a short article (1500 word limit) from the staff member of your choice. It's totally up to you if your article is featured on the site for everyone, is for donors only, or whatever your plan is. You can suggest a specific fighter, concept, or something more specific you want broken down or highlighted. We promise quality content, but we'll keep it brief and can't guarantee GIFs or other media components.

That's where the $40 tier comes in, the word limit is bumped up to 5000 and we promise GIFs and media components. These long articles are a lot of work, so we'd like to make them public if possible. For both article tiers, you'll have a dedication of sorts within the article.

Our last exclusive tier is $50 for scouting services. Essentially, you're hiring a Fight Site staff member to coach you remotely. For the month you're subscribed, your coach will work with you to break down footage, improve your game, look for weaknesses in opponents, etc. Theoretically you could use this approach to look at a specific matchup, having the coach break down a fighter and their opponent or potential opponents, rather than yourself. It's hard to quantify the minimum effort on a coach's part, but our team has never been known to half-ass anything.

It should be relatively easy to switch tiers from month-to-month, but if you have any questions or suggestions, you can message our page on Patreon, comment here, or contact me directly via Twitter, @EdwardGalloMMA.
